hahaha. I don’t want to hear it. the last week here was pretty darn hot…over 100 most days. I had a pack of gum in the car that dissolved. Extra, the stick kind. it turned to liquid.

My sister spent a summer in Italy when they had a heat wave. I asked her how the vatican was and she replied, “Great! They had air conditioning!” I think y’all are on the same page. I don’t know how y’all live up there with the snow and ice and then no ac when it gets hot.

Well here’s why I apply it only to movies and DVDs: anything bigger than that, and the lender is usually going to harangue the borrower about it. Like, if you borrow my blender for a party, I’ll go out of my way to get it back, because I won’t be able to make smoothies without it. But if you borrow my Twilight book, I’ve already read it and will likely never re-read it, so I won’t even remember you had it or even necessarily realize that it’s gone until I go looking for it.

That pretty much goes with everything: DVDs, money, clothes… I only loan things that I’d be comfortable giving away anyway. On a side note, What dreams may come. Really?

I can’t imagine ever not wanting one, especially when cocktails are involved! But after making it through an exceptionally smoke-and-alcohol drenched birthday party for a friend the other night without having one, I figure if I can make it through that, I can make it through anything!

Sarah, my dear, before I quit smoking 147 years ago, I believed my cigs were my best friend. I finally quit after seeing an older woman wheeling a little oxygen cart around. “That’s me in 20 years,” I thought.

Please keep going. The first month is the most difficult. Soon you will turn into me, a person who cannot be in the same zip code as a smoker.

Lauren, I wrote this during lunch today because my work friends all had other engagements and I had no one to eat lunch with. Loneliness = blogging. You should pray that I get dumped or something, think of how much I’d write then! Ha!

As for drinking, well, good point. Not that I drank or anything when I was 17! Hi mom! But I don’t think I drink much more than once a week, I’ve never been an every day drinker. And at my peak, I was smoking every day, and a LOT. So it’s somewhat different. Plus that was really just an excuse to make jokes about what a loser I was at 17. Haha..

2) I think you’re still drinking and I assume you were drinking when you were 17. Although, I was sticking mostly to Boone’s Farm Strawberry Hill and vodka out of a plastic bottle, so I guess that’s changed too.

3) Definitely thought about you when I shut my shower curtain last night.
